Latin-American film week begins

VGP - The fourth Latin American Film Week is taking place at the National Cinema Centre in Ha Noi.

Speaking at a press conference held in Ha Noi, Chile’s Ambassador to Viet Nam Claudio Quintana said despite using a common Spanish, each country in Latin America has unique historic and cultural features. Films to be screened are from nine countries – Venezuela, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, Panama, Cuba, Argentina, Peru.
Films screened feature many categories – mainstream, comedy, cartoon, documentary and history, among others – displaying social life, cultural characteristics of each nation and helping Vietnamese understand the cultural diversity of Latin America.
The film week runs until October 29./.
