Land management database system to operate from 2021
VGP – The local land management database system will be put into use in 2021, serving to meet demands of land users , according to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment.

On November 27, 2014, the Ha Noi municipal People’s Committee issued Decision 6264/QD-UBND (Decision 6264) ratifying a project on building up an electronic cadastral and land records.
With this system, people can access, search for information on a piece of land and apply for registration procedures and land use rights through the Internet instead of going to the department to search for the information in person.
The system will also allow the local cadastrial agencies at the level of city, district and commune to be accessible to inspection and access information on land for the use of management.
In May, 2020, the local authorities released Decision 2122/QD-UBND which extended deadline of Decision 6264 by 2021.
The project comprises 27 districts and communes (excluding Dan Phuong, Quoc Oai, and Ung Hoa districts)./.
