VGP - Japanese Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko paid their first-ever six-day State visit to Viet Nam from February 28 to March 5 at the invitation of State President Tran Dai Quang.

Japanese Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko began the first State visit to Vietnam with a meeting with volunteers of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) on late February 28.
