Japanese Kanagawa Festival to arrive in HN

VGP - The Japanese Kanagawa Festival will take place at Ly Thai To Park in Ha Noi on November 16-17 with a view to enhancing and raising awareness of Vietnamese people of Kanagawa prefecture, tourism sites, and enterprises.

Vietnamese singer Noo Phuoc Thinh and Japanese singer Ueno Yuka were selected as the Ambassadors of the festival.

On the sidelines of the festival, an investment promotion conference between Viet Nam and Kanagawa will be held on November 18.

The Japanese Folk Festival will take place on November 17 at the Ha Noi Opera House, featuring musical performances and traditional art forms of Japan. 

Tickets for the event are priced at VND100,000 and all proceeds will be donated to Nguyen Dinh Chieu Secondary School for visual-impaired students.

The Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism reported that over the past years, the Viet Nam-Japan relations have developed vigorously and comprehensively of which culture represents a pillar. 

Last year, Viet Nam received nearly 830,000 Japanese tourists, up 3.6% against 2017. In the first nine months of 2019, the country welcomed over 620,000 Japanese guests, representing a year-on-year growth of 13.7%./.
