IPI jumps slightly by 4.3%

In the first ten months, IPI increased by 6.9% against the same period last year. Mining industry expanded 87.4%. Processing and manufacturing surged relatively. Especially, food production and manufacturing rose 8.1%. Leather production expanded 23.5%. 

Out of the 23 key production sectors, only the rubber and plastic industry experienced a month-on-month decline of 4.3% due to difficulties in market and capital resources.

Consumption index of the processing and manufacturing industry posted a month-on-month increase of 2.2%. 

Inventory level of the processing and manufacturing industry dropped by 48.7% against the same period last year.  

As of October 1, 2017, employment index saw a month-on-month increase of 0.7% and a year-on-year surge of 53.6%./.
