Int’l textile and garment industry expo opens in HN
VGP - The 2016 International Textile and Garment Industry Expo (HANOITEX 2016) was officially kicked off on November 2 at the International Exhibition Centre in Ha Noi.
The event drew the attendance of Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Hoang Quoc Vuong and Vice Chairman of the Ha Noi People’s Committee Nguyen Doan Toan.
The expo attracted 171 companies from 13 countries and territories such as China, Germany, Indonesia, Japan, the Republic of Korea and Hong Kong (China).
Covering an area of 6,000 square metres, HANOITEX 2016 introduced equipment and materials for the textile and garment industry, such as equipment for spinning, weaving and dyeing, automated sewing lien, fabrics, yarn, design software and technological solutions.
On this occasion, seminars and round tables will be held for garment and textiles companies to discuss on issues of common concern and exchanged experience.
The expo will be closed on November 4./.
