Int’l guests to HN up 17%
VGP - Foreign visitors to the city reached almost 1.5 million in the first nine months of this year, an increase of 17.1% from a year ago, according to the Ha Noi Statistics Office.

Of these, tourists accounted for 80.4%, up 16.4% compared to the same period last year, whilst business trips accounted for 16.3%, up 20.4%.
Specifically, the Republic of Korea (RoK) saw the biggest rise in arrivals to Ha Noi at 47.9%, followed by the UK (42.3%), the US (23.3%), Thailand (20.9%) and France (36.9%).
The sector’s turnover this month increased by 0.5% compared to the previous month and 10.2% compared to the same month last year.
However, to reach the goal of three million foreign visitors this year, the municipal tourist sector will try harder by implementing tourist development programs and projects.
