HN to own 30 new industrial clusters by late 2019

Director of Ha Noi’s Industry and Trade Department Le Hong Thang reported that despite economic difficult time, Ha Noi still maintained high and stable economic growth pace of which construction industry grew 8.8% (preset goal of 8.5-9%). 

So far, Ha Noi is the only locality  pursuing the policy on key industrial product development. The city has 61 key industrial products with turnover of over VND 1 trillion.  

To develop the industrial sector in a sustainable and competitive manner, the city has spared no effort to develop industrial zones, parks, high-tech and modern ones; and raise product quality. 

So far, the local authorities have passed 11 industrial clusters to raise the total number to 30 ones by late 2019. 

However, Mr. Thang also stressed the importance of developing clean industries in favor of environmental protection. 

So far, Ha Noi houses 70 industrial clusters with a total area of 1,337 hectares and 3,100 production sites. 

These industrial clusters provide basis conditions for the development of trade villages, rural economy, and advantageous industries./.
