HN to conduct Covid tests for 13th Party Congress participants
VGP – Delegates who attend the 13th Party Congress will be tested twice for coronavirus from January 18-23 , said Director of the Ha Noi Health Department Nguyen Khac Hien.

Vice Chairman of the Ha Noi municipal People’s Committee Chu Xuan Dung chaired a video-teleconference with grass-root leaders on COVID-19 prevention and control in Ha Noi on January 14.
Deputy Director of the Ha Noi Health Department Hoang Duc Hanh was quoted as saying the city has gone 150 consecutive days with zero locally transmitted coronavirus case since August 17. However, the risk of a resurgence of the Covid-19 pandemic is latent, so staying vigilant is a must, as cold and dry winter conditions favor the transmission of the virus.
Earlier, on January 13, Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Chu Xuan Dung underlined that Ha Noi would impose hefty fines for those who do not wear face masks in public places including hospitals, parking lots, public areas, wet markets, supermarkets and shopping malls.
On January 6, Chairman of the Ha Noi People’s Committee Chu Ngoc Anh signed the dispatch. It was delivered to heads of the municipal departments, sectors, and localities at all levels.
The dispatch has urged sides involved to carry out better communications work to encourage people to wear masks, avoid mass gatherings, and fill up heath declarations when needed, among others./.
