HN to build four bridges

The Ha Noi municipal People’s Committee has set special mechanisms to select bidders for the four bridge construction projects across Hong and Duong rivers with a view to perfecting the transport system in Ha Noi and minimizing traffic congestion at rush hours.

Accordingly, Tu Lien bridge and a road connecting Tu Lien-Ha Noi-Thai Nguyen Expressway will have total lengths of 3 kilometers and nine kilometers. The project will get VND 17 billion of investment in PPP model and put into operation by 2021.

A 0.5-kilometer Duong bridge and a four-kilometer linking road will be built in Bac Ninh province. The project will be invested VND 6 billion in PPP model and accomplished by 2021.

In addition, the local authorities will build Tran Dung Dao bridge with 3-kilometer length across Hong River. The project will have VND 7 billion of investment in PPP model and put into operation by 2019.

Giang Bien bridge and linking roads will have a total length of 5.4 kilometers and cross Long Bien and Gia Lam districts. The project will get VND 8 billion of investment in PPP model and put into operation by 2021./.
