HN sets up Steering Committee on nCov prevention

The body comprises 34 members led by Chairman of the Ha Noi municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung. 

The steering committee is responsible for consulting the People’s Committee to prevent nCoV outbreak in accordance with directions of the Government, the Ministry of Health, and local authorities. 

The Steering Committee is also in charge of crafting plans to guide local departments and agencies at grass-root levels to prevent nCoV. 

In addition, the body bears the responsibility for proposing the People’s Committee to ensure expenditures, medicines, materials, and equipment on nCoV prevention.

The Steering Committee was asked to disclose infected cases in accordance with Circular 54/2015/TT-BYT, dated December 28, 2015 on declaration of communicable diseases./.
