The checkpoints are operated by local police, army force, health staff and interdisciplinary forces, in charge of controlling people and vehicles in and out the city, screening all people from other provinces and cities, and preventing disease transmission.

At the pandemic checkpoints, drivers will be requested to make health declaration and have body temperature checked.

Especially, returnees from disease-hit areas must present their negative PCR-Realtime test outcomes within three days before their arrivals to Ha Noi.

All people returning from Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) are requested to isolate themselves for 14 day at home instead of seven days. Those people must get tested for COVID-19 three times during their home self-isolation, on the first day, the seventh day and the 13th day.
