HN receives 137 Vietnamese returning from COVID-19 affected areas

VGP – The Ha Noi Capital High Command receive d 137 Vietnamese and seven Koreans, who came from coronavirus-hit regions, in Son Tay town on February 25-26.

As of February 26, the city isolated 174 people returning from the Republic of Korea’s Daegu city which has become a new epicenter of COVID-19.

All Vietnamese nationals returning from coronavirus-stricken areas have to undergo health checkup and quarantine within 14 days.

According to statistics from the Ha Noi Department of Health, as of February 26, the city has not recorded any cases positive for COVID-19. Currently, three suspected cases are being isolated and closely monitored.

Other 350 people are being put under medical supervision due to close contact with suspected cases or people coming from Covid-19-hit regions.

Earlier, the Capital High Command prepared facilities serving isolation if the epidemic spreads widely.

As of February 26, all 16 Covid-19 patients in Viet Nam have been discharged from hospital./.
