HN: Planning coverage hits 86% of area

VGP – The local authorities of Ha Noi have ratified 57 out of 68 projects (including 26 out of 35 subdivision planning and 31 out of 33 general planning). Planning coverage accounted for 83% of total area, said Vice Chairman of the Ha Noi People’s Committee Nguyen Van Suu.

In the first nine months, the local socio-economic performance was comprehensive, of which GRDP jumped 7.35% and total State budget collection was estimated at VND 185,031 billion.
Ha Noi’s provincial competitiveness index (PCI) jumped four steps ranking ninth out of 63 provinces and cities.
So far, six districts and 325 out of 386 communes were recognized as new rural areas. Average income per capita of people in rural areas was VND 46.5 million in 2018.
Urban management was promoted. Public service provision at level 3 and 4 accounted for 72%. By late 2019, the rate would hit 80%.
In the first nine months, the city reduced the administrative staff members by 191./.
