VGP - More than 20 watercolor paintings and 30 photographs illustrating the 36 old streets and guilds of Hà Nội are on display at the Việt Nam Culture Centre in Paris from April 14-May 4.

These works were produced by Vương Pat Cam, an overseas Vietnamese, who was born in Laos, but went to France to study and has lived there since he was 12 years old.

He said that even though he has never lived in Hà Nội, the city has always been close to his heart.

The works on display at the exhibition vividly illustrate the vibrant, animated, streets and daily life of Hà Nội.

Director of the Việt Nam Culture Center Lê Hồng Chương said Pat Cam has successfully captured the beauty of his beloved capital city, Hà Nội.

A cultural program featuring songs and poems about Hà Nội by members of the Vietnamese Students’ Association in France (UEVF) was also held in conjunction with the exhibition./.
