HN nominated for World's Leading City Destination 2019
VGP – The Capital City of Ha Noi was among 19 nominees for the title ‘World's Leading City Destination 2019’ by the World Travel Awards.

Specifically, the Vietnamese tourism sector had nominations in six categories.
World's Leading City Destination 2019 – Ha Noi, Viet Nam’
World's Leading Culinary Destination 2019 – Viet Nam;
World's Leading Cultural City Destination 2019 – Hoi An and Ha Noi cities;
World's Leading Cultural Destination 2019 – Viet Nam;
World's Leading Destination 2019- Viet Nam;
World's Leading Tourist Board 2019 – The Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism.
Viet Nam’s appearance in many voting categories for the world’s prestigious awards affirmed Vietnamese tourism’s position on the world’s travel map as well as contributes to promoting the image of the country to international community.
The awarding ceremony for the Asia will take place on October 12, 2019 in Phu Quoc island, Kien Giang province.
The world awarding ceremony will be held in November in Muscat, Oman.
