VGP – Up to 14 tourism destinations and 20 hotels in Ha Noi have jointly registered to participate in a tourism promotion campaign.
The Ha Noi Tourism Department reported that the Covid-19 pandemic has caused negative impacts on the local economy of which tourism was one of the worst-hit sectors.
So far, the Covid-19 outbreak has been put under control in Viet Nam. The tourism sector is conducting measures to restore tourism activities especially the domestic market before looking toward the international one.
Over the past time, a large number of local tourism sites and enterprises have taken measures, including the launch of new products, to stimulate tourism demands and attract tourists.
Noticeably, Hoa Lo prison historical relic launched a new tour named “Sacred night- Shining Vietnamese spirit.” Thang Long Citadel Management Board developed another tour themed “Touching the past.” Ha Noi Zoo built a new program on night zoo like Safari Singapore.
Other tourism sites in Ha Noi also cut service prices including Hanoi Ocean Park, Ao Vua tourism site, and Bao Son Paradise Park.
In the second half of 2020, Ha Noi targeted to attract 10-11 million domestic guests.
The tourism promotion plan will focus on building advantageous tourism products including heritages, culture, ecology, agriculture, healthcare, culture, sports, and commerce./.
