HN, Ireland boost cooperation

Ambassador Cait Moran thanked the local leaders for their support during her mission in Viet Nam. 

Ms. Cait Moran expressed the pleasure to witness the developments in the bilateral ties especially the tourism sector with about 20,000 Irish visitors to Viet Nam each year. The Irish overseas community in Viet Nam was estimated at about 1,000 people. 

The Ambassador expressed her impression of Ha Noi, expecting that the local authorities would create favorable ways for Ireland to host cultural events here. 

Regarding trade field, Ms. Cait Moran said that a large number of Irish enterprises have arrived in Ha Noi to seek cooperative opportunities in aviation, renewable energy, high-tech farming.  

The guest leader affirmed that she would spare no effort to maintain good sentiments for Ha Noi and nurture the bilateral ties. 

In reply, the Vice Chairman  said that Ha Noi always welcomes and creates favorable conditions for Irish investors to boost bilateral cooperation in trade, culture, high-tech agriculture, and smart city building.

The host leader acknowledged the guest leader’s contributions to relations between Viet Nam and Ireland as well as between Ha Noi and Irish localities.

He hoped that the diplomat would continue connecting the two nations and promoting the image of Ha Noi among Irish people./.
