HN hosts Japan cherry blossom festival 2019
VGP – The Ha Noi municipal People’s Committee and the Japanese Embassy in Viet Nam will jointly work to organize the 2019 Japan-Ha Noi cherry blossom festival 2019 from January to March.

The festival aims to advertize the image and beauty of Japanese people and country to Ha Noi; consolidate mutual understanding among peoples of the two countries; exchange experiences and cooperation in culture, education, healthcare, tourism, and economics among Ha Noi and Japan.
The three-month long festival aims to select a Vietnamese Cherry Goodwill Ambassador who is over 18-year-old, single, lives in Ha Noi, and serves for the friendly relations between Viet Nam and Japan.
The opening ceremony will take place at 8 PM on March 29 at Ly Thai To Stature Park with the debut of the Vietnamese Cherry Goodwill Ambassador and a special art performance.
On this occasion, cherry blossom trees and Vietnamese flowers will be on display from February 29 to March 31. Yosakoi dancing performance, Japanese and Vietnamese gastronomy festivals will take place from March 29 to March 31 at Ha Noi Children Park.
Especially, a conference on investment and tourism promotion between Ha Noi and Japan will take place on March 29./.
