HN, France foster cooperative ties
VGP – Chairman of Ha Noi municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung hosted a reception for President of the France-Viet Nam Friendship Group at the French National Assembly Stephanie Do to discuss on ways to boost the cooperation between the two countries in general and Ha Noi and France in particular.

Ms. Stephanie DO expressed the pleasure to witness the cooperation between Ha Noi and France in various fields including urban transport, environment, and infrastructure.
Chairman Chung stressed that Vietnamese people in general and local residents of Ha Noi in particular were pleasant to witness the developments in the bilateral ties.
Ha Noi said Chairman Chung has expanded connectivity with French cities.
Mr. Chung added that the local authorities of Ha Noi regularly exchanged views with the French Ambassador in Viet Nam to put the first phase of the third metro project into operation by 2020.
In the coming time, Ha Noi hopes to work with French localities on infrastructure construction, settlement of environmental containment and sewage./.
