HN: CPI drops slightly in March

VGP – In March, the consumer price index (CPI) saw a month-on-month decrease of 0.13% and a year-on-year increase of 4.05%, the Ha Noi Statistics Office reported.

The Ha Noi Statistics Office announced that costs of restaurants and services experienced a decline of 1.31%. Prices of culture, entertainment and tourism services decreased by 0.3%. The groups of telecom, garments, footwear, and household utensils dropped by 0.17% and 0.11%, respectively. 

Costs of housing, electricity, water, fuel, and building materials witnessed a month-on-month increase of 0.6%.  

In Q1, CPI saw a year-on-year increase of 3.96%./.
