HN conferred Laos’ highest medal
VGP – Laos decided to award a National Gold Order, its highest distinction, to Hà Nội, the capital city of Việt Nam, on the occasion of the city’s 1000th birthday anniversary.

He said that
the conferment shows the deep gratitude of the Party, State and people of Laos
to the Party, State and people of Việt Nam in general and Hà Nội in particular
for the latter’s contributions to the Lao revolution as well as to the
friendship, solidarity and all-around comprehension between the two sides.
