HN attracts over 2 million tourists in Oct.

VGP – The Capital City of Ha Noi welcomed over 2 million guests, representing a year-on-year surge of 7.9%, the Ha Noi Tourism Department reported.

In October, the number of international tourists was estimated at 534,000. Meanwhile, the city handled 1.5 million domestic guests and earned VND 6.3 trillion in revenue, up 6.2% against the same period last year.
In the January-October period, the Capital welcomed over 21 million guests including 4.8 million foreigners and 17 million domestic visitors. The tourism sector earned VND 63.3 trillion in revenue, representing a year-on-year growth of 6.9%.
The Department reported that international guests came from nearly 190 countries and territories.
China, the Republic of Korea, and Japan were leading markets.
Regarding hotel business, average room occupancy met 64.29% and was about to increase thanks to good weather./.
