Handicraft fair 2016 to be held
VGP - The VN handicraft fair 2016 will take place at the Thang Long Royal Citadel in Ha Noi from August 26-29.

On nearly 200 stalls will be products produced by well-known handicraft villages, said Ngo Quang Trung, Head of the Agency for Regional Industry Development under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The exhibition is part of a program to grant the “People Artisan” and “Meritorious Artisan” titles to stand-out craftsmen.
An exhibition zone will be arranged to display products made by excellent artisans, including rattan, embroidery, silk and porcelain items. Local businesses will also introduce rural industry products at the fair area.
The fair is the chance for the enterprises to trade and produce the handicraft products and gifts.
It's also the chance to exchange co-operation, advertise trade-marks, find partners to push trade promotion, expand the products consuming market in local and also export, make the chance for the handicraft products to thrive.
Currently, the country has nearly 3,000 craft villages./.-VOV
