Ha Noi’s leader welcomes Heineken VN’s new CEO
VGP – Chairman of the Ha Noi People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung in Ha Noi on June 24 received the newly-appointed managing director of Heineken Viet Nam Brewery Ltd. Co., Alexander Koch.

At the reception, CEO Koch thanked mayor Chung for a warm reception.
He hailed Viet Nam in general and Ha Noi in particular for their initial success in containing the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as the capital’s recent rapid development.
Koch stressed that his firm has set long-term sustainable goals in its development strategy, by caring for the people and preserving the planet towards common prosperity for a better Viet Nam.
In turn, Chung congratulated Koch on being appointed CEO of Heineken Viet Nam, and wished him a successful term.
With the outstanding achievements of the company in 2019, Chung said that he fully supports its strategy in Viet Nam – Heineken’s world second largest market.
He briefed his guest on the capital’s socio-economic development in recent times, saying despite the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ha Noi has achieved a gross regional domestic product (GRDP) growth of 3.9% in the first six months of the year. Thanks to pandemic control efforts, people's lives and economic activities have gradually returned to normal.
