Ha Noi’s budget revenue estimated at over VND21 trillion in July

VGP – Ha Noi’s budget revenue is estimated to hit VND21.14 trillion (US$909.02 million) in July 2019, including VND250 billion (US$10.75 million) from crude oil and VND20.89 trillion (US$898.27 million) from domestic collection, according to the Ha Noi Statistical Office.

The non-state business sector occupies the largest share of the capital city’s budget revenue so far this month with 29.9%, followed by the state-owned enterprise sector (24.4%), the foreign-invested sector (14.2%) and other economic sectors.

Concerning the January-July period, Ha Noi’s budget revenue reached VND145.244 trillion (US$6.24 billion), equivalent to 59.1% of the year’s estimate and up 13.3% compared to the same period last year. 

Revenue from crude oil hit VND1.984 trillion (US$85.31 million), up 40.4% year on year and meeting 101.8% of the annual estimate. Meanwhile, domestic collection reached VND139.46 trillion (US$5.99 billion), up 10% and equivalent to 57.2% of the estimate, including VND33.823 trillion (US$1.45 billion) from the state-owned enterprise sector, up 21.4% annually.

According to economic experts, Ha Noi’s socio-economic situation in the first seven months of 2019 continued to see positive changes. In addition to the increased budget revenue, the realized investment capital from the locally managed state budget rose by 19.4%, while total retail sales of goods and service revenue increased by 10.7%. Revenue from transport activities also surged by 11.6%, alongside 7.3% and 7.9% increases in the industrial production index and export turnover, respectively.
