Hà Nội’s lawmakers to decide important issues for 2010

VGP – The People’s Council of Hà Nội will make decisions on 13 important socio-economic issues for 2010 in its year-end session slated for next week.

The legislative body of the capital city will convene its 19th session on December 8-11.
Major issues of concern include the realization of the NA’s Resolution on adjusting administrative borders of Hà Nội; schedule of programs and projects to welcome the city’s millennium; and food safety.
At the 4-day sitting, the Municipal People’s Council will adopt a resolution on 13 important socio-economic and security issues for 2010.
The agenda also consists of a half-day interpellation session, focusing on environment hygiene, food safety, and urban transportation.
