Hà Nội, Yangon direct air route launched

VGP - Vietnam Airlines launched its first direct airline route linking Hà Nội and Yangon, Myanmar yesterday.
The national flag carrier operates 4 Hà Nội - Yangon flights a week, on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and
Sunday, using 70-seat planes Fokker 70.
The promotional return airfare for free independent travelers is VND
950,000 (US $49) applying from March 3 until March 25, and the departure time
is from April 1 until June 10 of this year.
Vietnam Airlines plans to increase its weekly flight frequency to five using
Airbus 320, starting from this winter in order to meet the increasing travel
demand of passengers from both cities.
