Ha Noi willing to cooperate with Phnom Penh

Standing Vice Chairman of the Ha Noi People’s Committee Nguyen Van Suu (R) and General Pusa Butdy, deputy commander of the Royal Cambodian Army and commander of the command of the special military zone of Cambodia

At the reception, Pusa Butdy affirmed the Cambodian army and people always bear in mind the sacrifices and contributions by Vietnamese volunteer soldiers to the country’s victory over the Pol Pot genocidal regime.

He took the occasion to thank the Military High Command of Ha Noi and the municipal authorities for their support in the past time.

General Pusa Butdy also briefed some achievements of the Royal Government of Cambodia in 2018 as well as the directions set in the process of strengthening security and defense. 

In turn, Standing Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Van Suu stated Ha Noi is willing to collaborate with Cambodian localities for mutual development.

He also praised the growth of the Viet Nam – Cambodia traditional ties, stressing that Ha Noi has maintained good relations with Phnom Penh via regular exchanges of delegations./.
