Ha Noi welcomes nearly 1.2 million tourist arrivals in July
VGP – Tourist arrivals to Ha Noi in July rose by 51.2% against the previous month to approximately 1.2 million, according to the Ha Noi Department of Tourism.

Of the figure, international arrivals were estimated at 16,600, up 26.9% from June, mainly those travelling for official or diplomatic purposes and foreign workers.
Meanwhile, domestic tourist arrivals were estimated at 1.18 million, a month-on-month increase of 51.6%, including 437,000 staying overnight and 744,000 on day trips.
The city’s total revenue from tourists was estimated to reach VND3.475 trillion (US$151.63 million), up 50.2% against June.
Between January-July, Ha Noi served roughly 6.13 million arrivals of visitors, down 63.3% compared to the same period last year, with international arrivals at 1 million and domestic arrivals at 5.13 million. Total revenue from tourists were estimated at VND22.426 trillion (US$967.34 million).
In August, the Ha Noi Department of Tourism will continue to apply information technology in conducting state management on tourism; direct local units, businesses, organizations and individuals doing tourism business to strictly implement regulations on COVID-19 prevention and control in the new situation; and monitor the impact of the pandemic on travel services, accommodation facilities and in the city./.
