The event responds to the campaign “Vietnamese people travel to Vietnamese destinations” launched by the Government to boost the growth of domestic travel and the development of other economic activities.

According to the Ha Noi People’s Committee, the festival, themed “Ha Noi people travel in Ha Noi”, will take place at the area of King Ly Thai To Monument, accommodating a common space, tourism booths and a culinary space.

The common space will feature miniatures of tourist destinations in Ha Noi and other localities aimed at creating a check-in space for visitors. Meanwhile, tourism pavilions will introduce Ha Noi’s unique specialties, tourism products, and destinations, as well as tours, tour combos, hotels and air tickets. Coming to the culinary space, visitors will have the chance to enjoy a number of outstanding Ha Noi dishes and specialties, such as pho, grilled fish with rice noodles, bun thang (rice vermicelli noodles with chicken, eggs and pork), and Ha Noi coffee.

In addition, the main stage at Nha Bat Giac (Octagon House) will host arts performances, demonstrations of food processing techniques, and games to entertain visitors.

Director of the Ha Noi Department of Tourism Dang Huong Giang said that the tourism stimulus program is aimed at encouraging Hanoians to tour the city’s attractive destinations, including the Ha Noi Old Quarter, Son Tay Town, Ba Vi, Huong Son (My Duc District), Soc Son, and Dong Anh, as well as attracting people nationwide to visit the capital and use the services offered by its travel companies./.
