Hà Nội strives for effective energy use

VGP - The Hà Nội People’s Committee has mapped out a plan to use energy effectively and economically in 2012.

The capital will strengthen dissemination of legal documents about effective energy use to enterprises, organizations and households, as well as advanced technologies and solutions to consume energy effectively in production and daily life.

The city will assist enterprises in industrial parks and complexes, concentrated craft village zones and plastic and steel makers in accessing high technologies and energy-saving technologies, as well as soft loans.

The city will take measures to save electricity in urban lighting and service facilities. It will also encourage and support families to use energy-saving equipment, and use solar and other sources of alternative energy.
