Ha Noi Sales Promotion Month 2019 to be held

VGP - The Ha Noi Sale Promotion Month 2019 will be held from November 1-30, with the participation of 500 enterprises.

Deputy Director of the Ha Noi Promotion Agency Nguyen Thi Mai Anh said the organizing board and enterprises will promote the transparency of information related to discounted products and services through authentication codes.

The one-month event aims to foster links among enterprises across all economic sectors, create value chains, and connect traditional trade and e-commerce ventures, towards meeting diverse consumer demands.

At the ‘4.0 Consumer Festival’ from November 1-3, visitors will have the chance to enjoy and experience smart shopping with many incentives from large businesses and brands.

Meanwhile, consumers will be introduced to promotional programs and discounts of air tickets as well as domestic and abroad tours provided by transport, aviation and travel enterprises at the 600-pavilions of the Tourism Promotion Festival from November 1-3.

The supermarkets, trade centers and e-commerce websites will introduce their many discount and preferential programs at the ‘Golden Promotion Day’ on November 9-10.

A Golden Promotion Week will be organized from November 22-26 at the Times City Square, Hai Ba Trungdistrict, with nearly 130 booths in different fields: electronics-technology, household items and fashion.

In addition, the capital city will coordinate with the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy under the Ministry of Industry and Trade to hold ‘Online Friday’ from November 29 to December 6, aiming to promote the development of e-commerce in the city.

The sales promotion month aims to respond to the “Buy Vietnamese products” campaign in Ha Noi, contribute to stabilizing the market, controlling inflation, ensuring social security and socio-economic development in the city.

The program will encourage consumers to shop in both traditional modes and e-commerce; promotes e-commerce platforms and non-cash payment applications to diversify trade.

The capital city promotion month has been implemented in the city for 10 years./.
