Ha Noi reopens pedestrian streets
VGP - The Ha N oi Municipal People’s Committee has announced that pedestrian streets in the area around Hoan Kiem lake are set to reopen on September 18.
After being closed to the public for several weeks, Hoan Kiem district’s administration has announced that September 18 will see the reopening of the capital’s famous walking streets.
Accordingly, walking streets around Hoan Kiem lake, in addition to adjacent areas such as Hang Dao and Hang Gai streets, Dong Xuan night market, and a further six streets throughout the Old Quarter, will open to the public from 7 p.m. on September 18.
Local people will be required to wear face masks and maintain a safe distance when possible during their visit to the area at the weekend.
Earlier, the Ha Noi Municipal People’s Committee allowed bars and karaoke parlors to reopen from September 16 as the city has gone 28 days without recording any community transmission of COVID-19./.
