Ha Noi relics reopen doors

VGP - The most favorite historic sites of interest will welcome visitors again starting May 14 after the temporary closure to prevent Covid-19.

Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature) will reopen to visitors at 8 am on May 14, following the temporary closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Director of the Centre for Scientific and Cultural Activities of the Temple of Literature Le Xuan Kieu said a body temperature meter and hand sanitiser will be installed for visitors.

Visitors are required to comply with regulations related to epidemic prevention and control, such as checking their body temperatures, wearing face masks, and washing hands.

The centre will also promote the typical tourism products to attract more visitors to the relic site.

On May 14, Ngoc Son Temple and Hoa Lo Prison, the iconic places of interest of Hanoi, will also reopen to visitors.

Hoa Lo Prison will resume operation with the exhibition “Aspiration for Freedom” with three thematic areas including The Chains, Flying in the Midst of the Night and the Peace Song. 

Earlier, President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum reopened to the public on May 12./.
