Ha Noi Party chief congratulates Great Buddha's Day 2020
VGP - Politburo member and Secretary of the Ha Noi Municipal Party Committee Vuong Dinh Hue visited the Viet Nam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Central Committee and the Executive Council of the VBS’s Ha Noi chapter on the occasion of the Buddha’s 2564th birth anniversary.

Mr. Hue wished all the dignitaries in the Central Committee of Viet Nam Buddhist Sangha and its Ha Noi branch good health, happiness and to keep gaining great achievements in practicing the faith.
The Ha Noi party chief expressed his wish that the Sangha will continue to join hands with the municipal government to well perform the assigned tasks, especially the prevention of the Covid-19 disease and restoration of economic development.
Talking about the efforts and initial successes in the Covid-19 prevention and control and economic recovery, the Ha Noi Party leader extended his sincere thanks to the Buddhist dignitaries, monks and nuns for their contributions to the fight against the pandemic.
He asked the VBS and the VBS chapter in the capital city to encourage the monks and nuns to strictly implement anti-pandemic principles.
Venerable Thich Thanh Nhieu on behalf of the Central Committee of Viet Nam Buddhist Sangha and Venerable Thich Bao Nghiem on behalf of the Sangha's Ha Noi branch expressed their gratitude for the Ha Noi authority’s affection and interest.
They affirmed that they will always trust and stand side by side with the city government to encourage Buddhist believers to do benevolent and beneficial works./.
