Ha Noi, Lima step up cooperation

At the reception, Ambassador Augusto Morelli Salgado affirmed that the Embassy of Peru is willing to collaborate with Ha Noi.

He also vowed to do his utmost to develop the friendship between the two countries and the capital cities as well.

In turn, Chairman Chung has expressed his hope that the newly-accredited Peruvian Ambassador will help connect the two countries as well as the two capitals in particular.

Mr. Chung said that Viet Nam and Peru hold numerous similarities in history and cultural tradition, adding that there remain much potential for bilateral cooperation which has yet to be tapped fully.
