Ha Noi honored among top 3 retail markets in Asia

Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ha Noi Mr. Nguyen Duc Chung has recently announced at the trade conference on connecting supply and demand of goods between Ha Noi and provinces.

He said the city is a large consumer market with large-scale commercial infrastructure and a synchronous distribution network. In this city, there are total 21 trade centers, 118 supermarkets, 454 markets, more than 600 convenience stores, and over 50 business chain of agricultural products and foods.

Each year, Ha Noi welcomes over 20 million visitors, of which more than 4 million are international visitors. In terms of market potential, this city is now considered as an emerging retail market.

The connecting of supply and demand of goods has contributed to promoting economic – social development in localities and to strengthening cooperation between Ha Noi and provinces, thereby forming sustainably developed communities, Chung added.
