VGP - The Ha Noi Gift Show 2020, an international fair for gifts and handicrafts, will be held from October 15-18.
This fair aims at being a bridge connecting local handicraft producers to foreign importers and domestic traders to promote local consumption and export of products, especially in the situation that Viet Nam has controlled the COVID-19 pandemic.
The upcoming event is expected to attract 10,000-12,000 visitors, including 650-700 foreign importers and visitors to visit and do business.
Addressing media workers, Nguyen Thanh Hai, deputy director of the Ha Noi Department of Industry and Trade, emphasised that the annual event looks to provide an ideal platform for both local and foreign exhibitors to boost trade links and seek fresh business opportunities amid the complicated nature of the COVID-19 epidemic.
A highlight of the event will be an exhibition zone which displays a range of unique handicraft products from talented artisans to help visitors gain greater insights into innovations taking place in the domestic handicraft sector.
A business matching scheme will be held via both online and offline platforms during the event to help importers seek suitable partners as they come together to conduct transactions and sign contracts.
This is an annual event held in Ha Noi and is part of a series of international fairs specialised in handicrafts held in October every year in the Asia-Pacific region.
