Ha Noi conducts rapid COVID-19 tests for shoppers of five wholesale markets

VGP – Ha Noi’s Department of Health has conducted as many as 1,064 COVID-19 tests for shoppers of the five wholesale markets over the past two days in a effort to contain spread of the virus in the city.
Testing outcomes show that all of 1,064 shoppers are negative for the virus, according to Ha Noi Moi Newspaper.
The testing was carried out at the request of Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung as the markets are the biggest wholesale ones in the capital.
The markets are Den Lu in Hoang Mai District, Long Bien in Ba Dinh District, Ha Vy in Thuong Tin District, and Yen Son in Hoang Mai District.
Chung also ordered the the Department of Health and the Center for Disease Control to continue training for nurses and staff of all 579 communal and district-level medical stations in order to strengthen their testing capacity./.
