Hà Nội boosts export of key industrial products

VGP - Hà Nội People’s Committee has approved a program to develop key industrial products in the 2011-2015 period with a target of increasing the proportion of export value of these products in the city’s total turnover to 10-15% by 2015.
Under the program, the average annual growth rate of key industrial products will be 5-10% higher than the rate of the whole industrial sector.
By 2015, the production value of key industrial products is expected to make up 30-35% of the city’s total.
To this end, Hà Nội will enhance the capacity of state agencies, organize trade promotion activities with the participation of more enterprises, assist firms in developing trademarks and gaining access to scientific and technological advancements, and accelerate administrative reform.
