Green Heritage Culture and Tourism Week to open

VGP - The second Green Heritage and Tourism Week will be held in Ha Noi from November 21-23 as part of activities to celebrate Viet Nam Culture Heritage Day (November 23).

Green Heritage Culture and Tourism Week

The event is hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and draws the participation of localities and cities nationwide, aiming to promote and honour cultural and natural heritage sites, especially those recognised by UNESCO as world natural heritage sites. 

Local exhibitors at the event will advertise the cultural and tourist potential of the world’s natural heritage sites, share experience in preserving natural heritage values in different regions around the country.

Diverse art and cultural activities will take place during the  week including traditional Ca Tru singing, folk songs, Don Ca Tai Tu (southern amateur singing), and Chau Van (spiritual singing) and others.

This is an opportunity for localities to exchange their experience in preserving and upholding the values of cultural and natural heritage, in harmonious development between human and nature in the biosphere reserves, national parks, nature reserves...

 

23rd November is selected as Viet Nam cultural Heritage Day, which has become an efficacious activity to uphold traditions, raise consciousness of the people working to protect and promote Vietnam's cultural heritage values and also to encourage public to actively participate in preserving and upholding national heritage values.
