Furniture and interior decoration fair opens

The event is co-hosted by the Ha Noi People's Committee, the municipal Department of Industry and Trade, and the Ha Noi Industrial Promotion and Development Consultancy Centre.

It has attracted the participation of over 100 enterprises showcasing their products at 300 booths.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Director of the Ha Noi Municipal Department of Industry and Trade Nguyen Thanh Hai said the fair is being held part of the capital’s efforts to assist associations and enterprises in marketing their products, strengthening trade exchanges, boosting connectivity, and expanding outlets, especially amid the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic.

The fair provides an ideal platform for local firms to introduce their products and seek partners, while consumers will have the opportunity to access additional shopping channels and select products to suit their needs.

In addition, the fair also offers chances for firms and manufacturing facilities to introduce their products to customers and seek new partners

Viet Nam’s wooden and interior products have thrived in the global market. The country is the largest furniture exporter in Southeast Asia, the second in Asia and the fourth in the world.

Major markets of Vietnamese products include the U.S., Europe, Japan, China and the Republic of Korea.
