First online books on Thăng Long–Hà Nội to be published soon
VGP – The Hà Nội Publishing House is planning to publish a set of books on Thăng Long–Hà Nội and its 1000-year civilization.
The 96-volume set is a key intangible
cultural project toward the grand anniversary of the capital city.

The books provide readers
not only information about Hà Nội’s geography, economics, history, culture,
literature and arts, but also in-depth studies to researchers. So far, 81 books
have been completed.
Under the project, 25 other
books on Thăng Long–Hà Nội will be printed in order to enrich local and school
libraries within the city.
Apart from printed books, there
will be five e-books on songs about Hà Nội in the 20th and early 21st
centuries, chronicles of Thăng Long–Hà Nội; Hà Nội Capital; Atlas on Thăng Long–Hà
Nội; and the Bibliography on the civilization of Thăng Long–Hà Nội.
The collection of books
will be inaugurate on October 2–6 at the National Library.
