Fireworks to light up HN sky on Lunar New Year’s Eve

VGP – The Ha Noi Department of Culture and Sports has proposed the Ha Noi municipal People’s Committee to suspend firework firing on New Year Festival and display fireworks on Lunar New Year’s Eve to celebrate the Year of the Pig.

The Department reported that as the two holidays are too close and the 89th anniversary of the Party founding (February 3) will coincide with the Lunar New Year Festival, the firework display should be taken one time.
Accordingly, the city will shoot fireworks at 30 different places including six high-altitude locations and 24 low-altitude spots.
Fireworks display will last for 15 minutes from 12.00 PM to 12.15 PM at the Eve night on February 5, 2019.
Besides the fireworks time, there are various cultural and artistic activities organized by local authorities around the fireworks locations.
The firework performance will come from the private sector./.
