Festival “Fairy Moon” brings joy to children
VGP - The seventh festival “Fairy Moon” will be held on September 6 at Ha Noi Opera House and broadcasted live on Viet Nam Television on the occasion of Mid-autumn Festival 2014.

Held annually by the Family and Children Magazine, Viet Nam Television (VTV) in cooperation with other organizations, Fairy Moon festival aims to provide financial support for poor children with heart diseases, serious diseases and Agent Orange victims, along with offering scholarships and gifts for poor children and students on the occasion of Mid-autumn Festival.
Besides, the event will honor individuals and organizations having contribution to supporting poor children in recent years.
Particularly, the festival provided capital for heart surgery for over 100 poor children, building 30 houses for orphans, along with over 800 passbooks, 800 scholarships and 6,000 gifts for children in poverty in the country; total amount is estimated at VND 20 billion.
With the seventh festival in 2014, the organizing board expects to continue their assistance for heart surgery, Agent Orange victims and poor children with total amount of VND1 billion.
Furthermore, audience will have an opportunity to enjoy special performances and art exchanges of artists and people living in difficult circumstances.
