Exhibition “For an elegant and civilized Ha Noi” held
VGP – A photo exhibition entitled ‘For an elegant and civilised Ha Noi’ is taking place in the capital city to mark the 20th anniversary of its recognition as ‘City For Peace’ by UNESCO (July 16, 1999 – 2019).

More than 200 works on display depict the life and documents about Uncle Ho, his thoughts, style and sentiment towards the capital’s people.
With three main displaying areas: "Thousand Years of Ha Noi’s Culture", "President Ho Chi Minh with Ha Noi’s Culture" and "Ha Noi Learns and Follows Ho Chi Minh's Ideology, Morality and Style in cultural life”, the exhibition is intended to convey an image of gentleness, sophistication, generosity and kindness of the capital city.
In addition, President Ho Chi Minh’s interest in the cause of developing the capital city’s culture is highlighted at the exhibition.
Through the exhibition, the organization board expected to raise people’s awareness on preserving and promoting traditional beauty, the elegant and civilized lifestyle of Ha Noi’s people in particular and the whole country in general.
The exhibition will run until August 12./.
