Speaking at the exhibition, Chairman of Ha Noi People's Committee Nguyen The Thao said the exhibition on economic - cultural – social achievements of the  capital during  60 years of construction and development is really a special activity, not only introducing and promoting the achievements of the capital but also reminding  party, government, military and civilians of paying their gratitude to the previous generations.

The event aims to introduce city’s achievements over the last 60 years to the public, especially the young, hence express the deep gratitude to previous generations and preserve, promote precious values of Ha Noi.

Exhibition is held on the total area of 4.000m2, introducing the development process of the capital in  three periods: 1954 to 1975; 1975 - 1986 and 1986 - 2014, highlighting overview of the capital city over 60 years of construction and development.

The exhibition on economic - cultural – social  achievements of the capital is open from October 4 to 12 at Ha Noi Museum.
