DPM Hue appointed as Ha Noi Party Secretary
VGP – Deputy PM Vuong Dinh Hue was appointed as new Secretary of Ha Noi's Party Committee.

The Politburo appointed Mr. Hue to replace former Ha Noi's Party Committee Secretary Hoang Trung Hai, who received a warning from the Politburo last month over violations in overseeing the functioning of state-owned steel company TISCO (TISCO II project).
Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue, 63, a native of the central province of Nghe An Province, is a professor with a doctorate degree in economics.
He was a member of the 10th and 11th Party Central Committee, member of the 12th Politburo, the Communist Party's decision-making body, and a deputy of the 13th and 14th National Assembly.
Hue was Head of the State Audit Office of Viet Nam in 2006.
From August 2011 to May 2013, he served as the Minister of Finance.
From December 12 to April 2016, he was the Head of the Central Economic Commission.
From April 2016 to February 2020, he was Deputy PM./.
