In the first ten months, CPI jumped 3.36% against the same period last year.

In comparison with September, prices of housing and building materials picked up 0.57%; transport (up 0.56%); restaurants and food services (up 0.38%); goods and services (up 0.56%).

Experts attributed the CPI increase to negative impacts of floods and landslides in the North and Central Region and the wedding season, leading to higher prices of food and foodstuff.

In addition, higher costs of petrol, gas, education fees, drugs also contributed to growing CPI./.
